Schengen Application Form
One application form duly completed, printed, and signed by the applicant on page 4. For children under 18 years old, both parents or legal guardians must sign the application form.
Valid Passport
Must be valid 3 months beyond your intended date of departure from the Schengen area; must have been issued within the last 10 years; must contain at least 2 blank pages.
Passport Photos
Two recent (6 months maximum), color photos meeting Schengen photo specifications, taken against a white or light colored background.
Travel Medical Insurance
Valid throughout the entire Schengen area; minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical expenses, emergency hospital treatment, and repatriation costs, including in the event of death.
Proof of Travel (Itinerary)
Confirmed round-trip flight reservations (flight ticket or flight reservation to the final destination) and a detailed itinerary covering all planned travel and stays in Greece and the Schengen area.
Proof of Accommodation
Confirmed and/or paid hotel reservations covering the entire duration of the stay. Alternatively, a formal, original Letter of Invitation from a host in Greece (if visiting family/friends).
Proof of Financial Means
Original, up-to-date personal bank account statements (for the last 3-6 months, stamped by the bank) showing sufficient balance. Applicants are generally advised to demonstrate funds of around €100 to €120 per person per day to cover all expenses.
Proof of Employment / Ties to Home Country
A signed letter from your employer (on company letterhead, stating position, salary, duration of leave, and employer’s guarantee of resuming functions after return). Business registration proof and tax returns are required for self-employed applicants.
Proof of Legal Residence (If Applicable)
Valid residence permit in your current country of residence (if you are not a national); this permit must be valid 3 months beyond your intended departure from the Schengen area.
Documents for Minors (Under 18)
Original Birth Certificate, a notarized Parental Consent letter from the non-travelling parent(s), and copies of both parents’ passports/IDs. A school certificate is also often requested.
